This simple design is a great way to get your hydration into a more desirable spot.  Many riders find the access much easier and therefor safer while riding.  It as a great setup for an XC racer.  It may even be more valuable to the bike packer. When combined with the KandyBikes dual cage adapter, having 2 water bottles right at grasping range is easy, safe, and opens up other frame storage options.
